The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, has been awarded the ‘2025 Outstanding Women of Honour’ at the 8th Edition of the Impactful Women Award.
The Minister was awarded for her Inspiring Leadership, Passion for Women Empowerment, and her Excellent Commitment to the Development of Society and her Constituency.

Ghana’s Gender Minister Dr. Naa Momo Lartey receives 2025 Woman of Honor Award.
Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey was officially presented with the 2025 Outstanding Women of Honour Award during a courtesy call by the Impactful Women Awards Initiative delegation, led by its convener, Mr. Barry Joseph.
Speaking during the visit, Mr Barry Joseph explained that the Initiative which has been running for the past eight years across Ghana and other African countries, celebrates women who have consistently made remarkable impact in sectors such as politics, leadership, women empowerment, education, and health.
According to him, the Minister was nominated following a rigorous background assessment of her contributions to public life, community development initiatives and direct engagement with her constituent. He described the Minister as one of the most visible and accessible women leaders in governance.
He also highlighted the Initiative’s annual Breast Cancer Wellness Initiative, aimed at creating awareness and supporting women affected by breast cancer.
The Minister also received a Certificate of Induction as offical recognition of her induction into the Impactful Women Award Hall of Fame.
Responding to the presentation, the Minister expressed gratitude to the Impactful Women Award Initiative for the recognition, describing it as a motivation to do more.
She reaffirmed her commitment to improving the lives of women, children and vulnerable persons through responsive policies and practical interventions.
She commended the Initiative for its focus on trumpeting the efforts of women in matters of women’s empowerment and breast cancer awareness.
