The 2025 edition of the Africa Women and Children Conference has ended after successful rounds of deliberations by climate activists, policy makers, students, innovators, development partners and entrepreneurs on the unique role of young people in the fight against climate change and creating opportunities in climate action.
Samira Bawumia, Convenor stated the gathering had been extremely successful.
”Once again, our conference communique highlighted the need for increased representation of women and children in climate discourse, equitable access to finance, the inclusion of indigenous knowledge, and widespread climate education for a climate-resilient Africa”, Samira noted.
She expressed gratitude to participants and stakeholders.
