Ghana Embassy in DC reopens

A team of seasoned Diplomats led by an Astute Diplomat from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has been tasked to run the Embassy of Ghana in Washington DC, USA.

They are to ensure total systems overhaul, restore integrity in the Embassy’s operations and complete ongoing structural reforms. This follows the recall of Local Staff of the Embassy.

A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said an Information Technology team has already been deployed to reconfigure the website and payment platforms to do away with all unofficial and unauthorized links associated with the IT system of the Embassy. It however announced that the Embassy is set to reopen on 29th of this month.

The Ministry notes that measures have been put in place to clear the backlog saying any inconvenience resulting from the necessary interventions is deeply regretted.
