“Representing Ghana on the world stage is the greatest honour of my football career. Every time I wear the Black Stars jersey, I carry the hopes and pride of millions of Ghanaians, and that responsibility means everything to me.
I know there has been a lot of discussion about events off the pitch. I have pleaded not guilty to the charges against me, maintain my innocence, and have confidence in the legal process.
My focus remains on football, giving my absolute best for Ghana, supporting my teammates, and inspiring young people to keep believing in their dreams, regardless of the challenges they face.
Although we didn’t achieve the result we hoped for, the fighting spirit of the Black Stars remains strong. We will learn, grow, and continue to fight for our nation every time we step onto the pitch.
To my teammates, my family, and every Ghanaian who has stood by me with prayers, encouragement, and support, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
