Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has joined His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama at a state banquet held in honour of His Excellency Emmerson D. Mnangagwa, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, as part of his historic visit to Ghana.



The relationship between Ghana and Zimbabwe is grounded in a common desire for liberation and a commitment to African unity.
The Vice President said, ”Our friendship has been shaped by the ideals of anti-imperialism and Pan-African solidarity championed by pioneers such as Kwame Nkrumah. The ties between our two nations continue to evolve with a renewed focus on deepening diplomatic and economic cooperation”.
Professor Opoku-Agyemang said , ”it was a distinct honour to host President Mnangagwa and his delegation as we work to further consolidate this partnership in the spirit of progress and continental unity”.
